Warriors Defeat Saint Mary's, MN

WINONA, MN -- Winona State University snapped a seven-match losing streak with an 8-1 win over Saint Mary's University in nonconference action at St. T's.

The Warriors lost their only match in singles play and swept the five other singles matches in straight sets excepts for Tanner Bishop's win at No. 6 singles where he had to go 6-0, 10-4 after losing the first set 6-4.

Also winning singles play for the Warriors was Gage Davidson at No. 1, Aaron Lentz at No. 2, Stuart Booth at No.4 and Taylor Rens at No. 5.

The doubles pairs of Davidson/Lentz, Zach Williams and Rens and Booth and Bishop all won their matches.
