Winona State 2nd In NCC Championship

SARTELL, MN -- Winona State University placed second as a team and Zach Williams came up with an individual championship in the North Central Conference Championship.
The Warriors totaled 26 points, eight behind the winning team St. Cloud State University, as the Warriors had three seconds and two thirds to go with Williams' singles championship and three runnersup in doubles play.
Williams won both of his matches in straight sets to capture the No. 4 singles title.
Taking second for the Warriors was Gage Davidson at No. 1 singles, Aaron Lentz at No. 2 singles and Stuart Booth at No. 3 singles.
Placing third in singles play was Taylor Rens at No. 5 and Tanner Bishop at No. 6.
The doubles pairs of Davidson-Lentz (No. 1), Williams-Rens (No. 2) and Baship-Booth (No. 3) all placed second in their respective division.
