Women’s Soccer adds seven recruits for 2007

Story by: Sports Information Office

WSU Soccer Winona, Mn –  The Winona State women's soccer program has added seven highly-regarded student-athletes who will comprise the bulk of the team's 2007 freshman class, head coach Ali Omar announced today.

"I think this is a very deep and talented recruiting class," said Omar, who has guided the Warriors to three-straight NSIC championship titles. "We went after specific needs and I think we fulfilled them. These players will make an impact on our program for the next four years and we can't wait to begin working with them."

They will come right into our program and boost our team’s level of play and productivity, Omar also added.
