Warriors Burst Onto National Ranking Scene

MISSION, KS -- Winona State University burst onto the collegiate national ranking scene by being tied for seventh in the latest NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll.

The Warriors, who were not ranked the previous two weeks, knocked off, previous No. 1 and NCAA Division II national champion, Metropolitan State College of Denver 1-0 to improve their record to 2-1.

The win also helped the Warriors in NSCAA/adidas regional rankings, as they move into the No. 1 slot in the Central Region.
