Florian Receives League Honors

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Gina Florian has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Florian helped the Warriors to a pair of victories, including a 6-0 win over Upper Iowa University where she came up with a natural hat trick in the 6-0 victory. Florian added an assist on the Warriors' fourth goal over UIU and finished with seven points.

WSU is ranked 21st in the latest national poll and has won four consecutive matches by shutouts.
