Schumacher, Diehm Receive League Honors

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Leslie Schumacher and Amanda Diehm each received Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week honors.

Schumacher was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after one of her two goals scored over the weekend came with 3.5 seconds left in double overtime play against Concordia University St. Paul. The other came in WSU's 5-0 win over Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Diehm was the winning goal keeper in each of the Warrior shutout wins. Diehm recorded the complete-game wins by coming up with seven saves over the weekend.
