WSU Stops Bemidji State Story by: Winona State Sports Information Office 
BEMIDJI, MN -- Winona State University scored two goals in a 3:28 span and went on to defeat Bemidji State University 2-1 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action.
Amelia Kasten and Holly Sutton did the goal scoring, while Kallie Tellefsen and Annie Lauterer received assists on the plays respectively. Kasten came up with the first goal at 21:13 and Sutton followed up at 24:41. BSU made the match interesting with a goal a 44:47, but that was the only shot on goal of six BSU shots on goal that got past WSU's goal keeper Amanda Diehm.
