Warriors Land Five On All-Region Team

KANSAS CITY, KS -- Winona State University's success for the 2007 season was recognized when five Warriors were placed on the NSCAA/adidas All-Central Region Team.

The Warriors placed three players on the first team, led by the NCAA Division II's top goal keeper, junior, Amanda Diehm. Diehm was joined by, senior, forward, Holly Sutton and, senior, defender, Heidi Woerle.

WSU also placed Amelia Kasten, a junior, forward, on the second team, while senior, midfielder, Kallie Tellefsen was named to the third team.

WSU was 16-3-2 for the season and was selected to play in the NCAA Division II national tournament.
