Junior Andrea Zilka scored four goals on five shots to lead Winona State University to
a 12-0 win over the University of Minnesota-Morris in Northern Sun Intercollegiate
Conference play September 27th at Maxwell Field. The win kept the Warriors unbeaten at 4-0
in NSIC play and upped their season record to 7-3.
Zilka's effort improved her career goal total to 42 and her collegiate point total to
98 -- both second on the all-time lists for the Warriors.
Junior Betsy Morgan, the Warriors' all-time goal and point scorer, added three goals
and an assist for WSU. Morgan's career totals are now 49 goals and 125 points.
Adding to the Warrior onslaught was freshman Danielle Krieg with a pair of goals and
single goals by freshmen Jessica Brancale and Magill Railton and sophomore Kelly Dzurick.
Junior Jenny Winders added three assists to the Warrior totals and freshman Elizabeth
Leibsle and Katie Dreiling each recorded an assist.
The Warrior defense allowed only two shots on goal and freshman Crystal Pearson did not
have to make a stop on either.
