Stannis Named Pitcher Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University, senior, pitcher Jenny Stannis has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Stannis picked up a win and a save in the Warriors' doubleheader sweep of the Concordia University St. Paul Golden Bears and then added a win over the University of North Dakota in the CSP Tournament.

Stannis pitched 23 and a third innings and allowed eight runs on 18 hits, while striking out 19.
