Fossell Named To Academic All-District First Team

DELAWARE, OH -- Winona State University, junior, pitcher, Kristen Fossell has ben named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First Team.

Fossell is a nursing major, who has helped guide the Warriors to NCAA Division II North Central Region Tournament play and a 43-19 record.

Fossell holds a 17-5 record with 140 strikeouts in 148.1 innings pitched.

By being named to the first team Fossell's named will now be placed on a national ballot to be considered for Academic All-American consideration.

The award is present by the College Sports Information Directors of America and ESPN The Magazine.
