Warriors Win Three In Chicagoland Event

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Winona State University came up with three wins in the Chicagoland Fall Classic.

The Warriors posted an eight-inning, 3-2, win over Illinois Central College, topped Olivet Nazarene, IL 6-2 and came away with a 3-2 win over the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

In the Illinois Central game, Kristen Fossell struck out eight and Chelsea Rosenow and Amanda Wilhelm’s led offense.

Against Olivet, Chelsey Ewing picked up the pitching win and Wilhelm and Terra Halron paced the hitting for the Warriors.

The Warriors came from behind to beat the UWP Rangers. Courtney Strang earned the mound victory and Fossell posted the save. Annie Stuedemann, Amy Hahn and Halron sparked the offense.
