Struzynski Named Pitcher Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Stacey Struzynski went 2-0 for the week, including throwing a no-hitter and has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Struzynski hurled the no-hitter in a 4-0 win over Northern State University in NSIC Crossover action held at Wayne State College, NE. Struzynski walked only one and struck out ten, while a couple of errors also prevented the perfect game.

The other win by Struzynski came in Game Two of a doubleheader with Wayne State that started NSIC play for the Warriors. The Warriors won that game 5-1 and Struzynski allowed only three hits and struck out ten.

For the week Struzynski struck out 20 and allowed an opponent batting average of just .065 in 14 innings of work.
