Fossell Named NSIC Pitcher Of The Week

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Kristen Fossell has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Fossell threw a 12-inning complete game in the Warriors' 6-5 win over No. 5-ranked University of Nebraska-Omaha during play of the Microtel Inn & Suites Classic held in North Mankato, MN. Fossell allowed five runs but only one was earned while giving up five hits and five walks. Fossell also recorded ten strikeouts and UNO, the top ranked team in the North Central Region, hit only .119 against her.
