Fossell Picked ESPN The Magazine All-District

DELAWARE, OH -- Winona State University, senior, pitcher, Kristen Fossell has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First Team.

It is the second time in her four-year career at WSU that Fossell has received district honors -- 3rd Team in 2006.

With the selection to the first team, Fossell will now be placed on the All-America ballot.

Players must be nominated by their sports information director, have a 3.2 or high grade point average, played in 75 percent of his team' games. and be selected to his respective All-District first team in order to be placed on the All-America ballot.
