WSU Puts Three On Region All-Tournament Team

EMPORIA, KS -- Winona State University recorded its best ever finish in the NCAA Division II North Central Region and placed three players on the All-Tournament Team.

The No. 6 Seed Warriors, who were the runnersup in the tournament, placed, senior, pitcher, Kristen Fossell, freshman, outfielder, Mollie Bjelland and, freshman, designated player, Annie Stuedemann on the All-Tournament Team.

WSU went 3-2 in the tournament and lost in the championship game.
