Fossell Named ESPN The Magazine All-America

NOTRE DAME, IN -- Winona State University, senior, pitcher, Kristen Fossell has been named to the 2nd Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Fossell earned her way to the All-America ballot by being named to the ESPN The Magazine District V First Team.
On the season Fossell helped the WSU Warriors to a second-place finish in the NCAA Division II North Central Region, a sweep of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament and a second place in the NSIC regular season.
Fossell completed the season with a 17-9 record, 1.70 earned run average and 170 strikeouts with only 39 walks in 185.2 innings pitched.
