King 13th At Drake Relays

DES MOINES, IA -- Competing in a strong field of Division II throwers, Winona State University's Emily King placed 13th in the hammer throw at the Drake Relays.

Besides King, the Warrior 1600 medley relay team of Smantha Lisowski, Nicci Johnson, Jennifer Bradford and Theresa Pawelko came in eighth with a WSU record time of 4:09.78.

King reached a distance of 178-feet, 9-inches.
