WSU Ties For 4th In NSIC Championships

BEMIDJI, MN _- Lindsey Derby placed second and Jennifer Bradford set a Winona State University record as the Warriors tied for fourth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field championships.
Derby had the top finish for the Warriors as she turned a second-place time of :07.34 in the 55-meter dash.
Jess Devine was third in the 55-meter hurdles with a NCAA Division II national qualifying provisional time of :08.33.
Chelsea Brown was the only other Warrior to finish in the top three when she came in third in the shot put with a toss of 42-11 3/4.
Bradford place fifth in the 600-meter dash and in the process set a Warrior record with a time of 1:37.92.
Winona State came up with 54 points to tie for fourth out of seven teams.
