Warriors Have Two That Will Compete In Nationals

Jess Devine Cp> Cp> INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The NCAA has announced the individuals who will advance to the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships and two Winona State University athletes have advanced.

Named for Winona is, senior, Jess Devine, who has the 16th best time in the 60-meter hurdles with a :08.83 mark.

Joining Devine is, freshman, Rebecca Stier who is ranked eighth in the shot put with a throw of 46-feet, 1-and-one-quarter-inches.

The championships will be held March 14-15 at Myers Field House in Mankato, MN. The preliminaries for the 60-meter hurdles will begin at 7:01 p.m., Friday, March 14 and the finals will be at 5:27 p.m., Saturday, March 15. The shot put competition will be March 15 at Noon.
