Warriors Shatter Record At Drake Relays

DES MOINES, IA -- The Winona State University 4 x 400 relay team shattered a Warrior school record at the Drake Relays.

The x 400 team of Kelly Milkent, Nicole Johnson, Lisa Meyer and Jennifer Bradford came in with a clocking of 3:55.71, :04.14 off the previous relay mark. The Warriors were second in their preliminary run and finished tenth out of 33 teams in the event.

The 4 x 100 team of Samantha Lisowski, Lindsey Derby, Nikki Olson and Jess Devine finished fourth in the second preliminary run and 12th out of 29 teams to compete in the event. The WSU quartet finished in :48.67.

Both the WSU 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams failed to advance on the finals round.
