ABERDEEN, SD -- Winona State University's Kaitlyn Jensen placed fourth in the heptathlon portion of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Jensen finished with 4,113 points and helped WSU earn four points towards the championship standings.

Also competing for WSU was Alyssa Lammers, who placed ninth in the field of ten with 3,025 points.

The best effort for Jensen came in the javelin throw where she swept the field with a throw of 107-feet, 1-inch. Jensen was also third in the long jump (16-3 3/4) and fourth in both the 100-meter hurdles (:16.10) and 200-meter dash (:27.72).
