Volleyball Receives Academic Recognition

LEXINGTON, KY -- Winona State University has been picked as one of 30 NCAA Division II teams to be honored with the GamePlan/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2006-2007 season.

The award was given to 30 teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade point average.

Winona State is one of four teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference to be given the honor.
