WSU Beats Saint Mary's, MN

WINONA, MN -- Freshman Kim Nemcek and senior Lisa Dobie combined to lead Winona State University to a 3-1 nonconference win over Saint Mary's University.
Nemcek came up with 22 kills and Dobie totaled 3 assists as WSU won the first two games by the same 30-21 scores and then polished off the match with a 30-15 win in Game Four. SMU captured the third game 30-27.
Aside from Nemcek, Carmen Stankowski recorded 14 kills and Kiersten Arendt added 11. Stankowski also had 16 digs and Rudi Balich had a team-high 17 digs. Arendt and Kerry Daly each had three total blocks.
