WSU Upended By Minnesota, Crookston

Lisa Dobie vs UMC WINONA, MN -- Winona State University lost in five games to the University of Minnesota, Crookston in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play at McCown Gymnasium.

The Warriors came back to tie the match at two games apiece by winning Game Four 30-28, but then fell a little short in the fifth game, losing 15-12.

WSU opened with a 30-23 win but then faltered by scores of 30-20 and 30-25.

Kim Nemcek had 18 kills for the Warriors, Kiersten Arendt followed with 13 and Jenna Padley came up 11 kills.

Lisa Dobie finished with 32 assists for the Warriors, while Rudi Balich recorded 14 digs and Carmen Stankowski tallied 11 digs.
