Warriors Beaten By MSU Mankato

Rudi Balich WINONA, MN -- Winona State University rallied to win the first game, but that was not enough as the Warriors fell to No. 16 Minnesota State University Mankato.

The Warriors trailed 28-24 in the opening game and roared back for the win by scoring the final six points of the match. From there MSU scored wins of 30-25, 31-29 and 30-14 for the victory.

Carmen Stankowski had 14 kills for the Warriors and Kiersten Arendt recorded 12. Susan Clausen led the Warriors with 19 assists and Rudi Balich and Crystal Otte each came up with 16 digs.

Stankowski also had four total block.
