Warriors Blank Northern State

WINONA, MN -- Winona State University got off to a quick start and then fought off Northern State University two post a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference shutout at McCown Gymnasium.
The Warriors won Game One by 30-19 count, but Northern State was going to have none of that, as the Wolves forced the Warriors to win Game Two 30-28 before WSU came back to win the third game 30-25.
Carmen Stankowski and Rudi Balich scored 18 and 12 kills respectively. Lisa Dobie tallied 48 assists and Crystal Otte finished with 20 digs. Mollie Bjelland contributed 11 digs to the win.
Kiersten Arendt led the Warriors with three total blocks.
