Warriors Fall In Tournament Play

MOORHEAD, MN -- Winona State University lost the first two games and eventually lost 3-1 to Minnesota State University Moorhead in the first round of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament action.
The Warriors lost the first two games 30-25 and 30-19 before coming up with a 30-27 victory in Game Three. MSUM then followed up with a 30-27 win and eliminated the Warriors from the tournament.
Kim Nemcek had a team-high 14 kills for the Warriors, while Jenna Padely added 13 kills and Carmen Stankowski had ten kills and 22 digs.
On the defensive side, Rudi Balich recorded a team-high 27 digs and Crystal Otte and Mollie Bjelland had 13 and 12 digs respectively.
Rounding the WSU effort was Lisa Dobie with 47 assists and 25 digs.
