Warriors Receive Academic Honors

ATLANTA, GA -- Winona State University proved that its has more than athletic skills on its women's basketball team, as the Warriors were ranked No. 7 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association 2006-07 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
The Warriors compiled a 3.461 team grade point average, while Lake Superior State University, MI had the No. 1 ranking with a 3.588 GPA.
GPAs are calculated by dividing the total number of quality points earned by each student-athlete on an institution's roster in the given academic terms by the total number of hours eared by the team. The GPAs are rounded to the nearest thousandth of a point.
