Three-Pointers Key WSU Win

WINONA, MN -- Ana Wurtz made four three-point field goals in the first half and keyed a 75-62 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference win over the University of Minnesota, Crookston at McCown Gymnasium.
Wurtz scored all of her team-high 18 points, which included four three-pointers, in th first half. Jenny Steffen also had for three-point field goals and finished with 16 points. As a team the Warriors had 11 three-pointers in 28 attempts.
Amanda Reimer added 11 points for the WSU starters and Natalie Gigler came off the bench to scored 10 points.
The Warriors led 39-27 at the halftime break and held a 36-35 scoring edge in the final 20 minutes of play.
WSU netted 25 of 60 field goal attempts to 20-for-59 for UMC.
