ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University's Jenny Steffen led the Warriors to their 20th and 21st wins of the season and was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week.

The Warriors, who had never reached the 20-game win level in the history of the program, came up with two wins to wrap up their NSIC season with an 11-7 record and a home-court berth in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament. The Warriors are 21-8 overall for the season.

Steffen lit up the court at both Bemidji State University and the University of Minnesota, Crookston by going 19-of-27 from the floor for a outstanding .704 shooting percentage.

In the two games, Steffen netted 24 points against Bemidji State and 30 against UMC for a 27-point average.
