WSU Remains No. 10 In Region

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee came out with its regional rankings and Winona State University remained No. 10 in the North Central Region rankings.

It is the second week in a row WSU reached the top ten in the regional rankings.

The Warriors are 12-8 against Division II foes and 14-8 against Division II in-region foes.

The regional rankings is the only rankings that is used to determine teams for regional competition in the Division II national tournament. The top eight ranked teams in the region advance on to the regional tournament.

Tournament winners from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, North Central Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference are automatic selections to the region tournament and the five remaining berths are at-large berths.
