Warriors 7th In NSIC Championships

ABERDEEN, SD -- Winona State University placed seventh out of 11 teams in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships held at the Lee Park Golf Course.

The Warriors totaled 155 points, while Augustana College, SD was the meet winner with 32 points.

The Warrior efforts were paced by, freshman, Jenna Southworth, who toured the 6K course in 22:50.50 and placed sixth out of a field of 99 runners.

Following Southworth was, junior, Steph Smith in 33rd at 24:33.35 and, junior, Allie Glasbrenner in 35th at 24:34.70.

The Winona State top five was completed by, sophomores, Madie Heinrich and Michelle Jeske in 45th (25:03.20) and 46th (25:03.85) respectively.
