WSU 3rd At NSIC Championship

WINONA, MN -- Led by the fifth-place finish of Bethany Easker, Winona State University placed third in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships held at the Westfield Golf Course.
The Warriors totaled 108 points, while Minnesota State University Moorhead won the team title with 50 points. Wayne State College, NE was a close second with 55 points.
Easker turned in a time of 23:18.0 in placing fifth, while Allie Glasbrenner had the other Top 20 finish for WSU with an 11th-place time of 23:48.8.
Madeline Heinrich came in 30th (25:05.6), Steph Smith was in 32nd (25:10.2) and Ashley Vonck was 36th in a time of 25:23.0 for the Warriors.
