Warrior Team, Two Indivduals Receive Golf All-Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, FL -- The Winona State University women’s golf team and players, senior, Samantha Wolf (Hubertus, WI) and, freshman, Tara Christensen (Windom, MN) have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar teams for the 2005-2006 season.
The Warrior squad tied for 19th in the team rankings (all NCAA divisions are included in the rankings) with a team cumulative grade point average of 3.559.
Wolf and Christensen were among the 371 golfers from NCAA I, II and III programs to be honored.
The criteria for selection to the All-Scholar team is an individual must have a 3.50 grade point average or higher and must have played in 66 percent of her team’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
Wolf majored in mathematics and statistics and Christensen is a finance major.
