Warriors Lead First Half Of NSIC Championship

ST. PAUL, MN -- Winona State University holds the lead at the completion of the first half to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships held at the Pebble Beach golf Course.
The Warriors lead the first 36-holes of the tournament by two strokes over Upper Iowa University by compiling rounds of 342-315 for a 657.
WSU's Morgan Proshek is the leader in the medal play, as she scored rounds of 79 followed by a two-over-par 74 for a 153 and a two-stroke lead.
The second half of the tournament will be completed this spring at a date and site to be determined.
The Warriors's Nikki Wilson stands in thrid place with a 156 (79-77), while Megan Placko rounds out the Top Ten placings for theWarriors in a tie for tenth with a 170 (91-79).
