Placko Grabs Medalist Honors

SAUK RAPIDS, MN -- Winona State University's Megan Placko shot an even-over par 73 for medalist honors and led the Warriors to a second place finish in the Husky Invitational held at he Wapicada Golf Course.

The Warriors totaled a 332 team score as Minnesota State University Mankato won the event with a 327.

Warriors Tara Christensen and Courtney Sovereign each shot rounds of 84 to tie for eighth place.
