Warriors Place 4th

TREMPEALEAU, WI -- Winona State University cut 24 strokes from its first-round performance and went on to place fourth out of six teams in the Express Suites Riverport Inn Classic held at the Trempealeau Mountain Golf Course.

The Warriors opened the two-day, 16-hole, event with a 341 total and then followed up on the second day with a 317 for a final total of 658.

Megan Placko led the Warriors with rounds of 82 and 74 for a 156 total that was good for fifth place. Nicki Robertson added a 169 (90-79) to the team total and Hilary Botton, playing as an individual, also came up a 169 (82-87), as each tied for 21st.
