Warriors Finish 3rd In NSIC Championship

YANKTON, SD -- Winona State University finished up the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships in third place at the completition of the fourth round of play at the Fox Golf Course.

The Warriors totaled 1,341 for the 72 holes, as Upper Iowa University won the team title with a 1,251.

Megan Placko paced the Warriors by tieing for third place with a 315 on rounds of 76-78-80-81. The Warriors also had Tara Christenson place in the top ten with a 335 total that was good for tenth.

Nicki Robertson and Courtney Sovereign finished in the top 15 with respective totals of 342 and 343 to place 13th and 14th respecively.
