Placko Tied For 18th In Region Tournament

GRAND FORKS, ND -- Winona State University's Megan Placko shot another round under 80 and finished tied for 18th at the completition of the final round of the 54-hole NCAA Divison II North Central Region Tournament held at the King's Walk Golf Course.

Placko posted an 18-hole total of 79 on the par-72 course to add to her rounds of 83 and 78 for a 54-hole total of 240 in the 33-player field.

Placko (junior) was the only WSU player in the tournament.
