Bailey Named Player Of The Year

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- For a fourth straight year Winona State University's Michele Bailey has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Year.
Bailey received the honor after helping lead the Warriors to their third straight NSIC team championship. Bailey posted wins at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and was also named All-Conference in each event.
Besides Bailey, Megan Hertz (No. 2), Laura Hobert (No. 3) and Maggie Lindquist (No. 4) all were named to the All-Conference team in singles play and Mary Hesterman joined Bailey as All-Conference at No. 1 doubles.
Honorable mention went to Hobert and Lindquist, who were second in No. 2 doubles play.
