Warriors Blank Minnesota, Morris

WINONA, MN -- Winona State University lost only two games in singles play and went on to post a 9-0 shutout win over the University of Minnesota, Morris in nonconference action at St T's.

Heather Pierce, Mary Hesterman, Amanda Asche and Holly Peltier all won their respective singles matches by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.

The other WSU singles wins went to Erika Richae and Kaycee Moore.

In doubles play the Warriors lost only three games, as partners Hesterman and Pierce, Peltier and Richae and Courtney Zinter and Moore all came away with victories.
