Our Mission
The Business Education Faculty are committed to providing quality
general education and professional education for Winona State University
students. The staff's primary mission is to facilitate student learning
outcomes in three basic areas:
- Professional expertise - Students will demonstrate the
professional competencies specific to assuming responsible,
self-supporting economic roles in society.
- Personal/Professional Development - Students will exercise
the communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, and higher order
thinking proficiencies necessary to meet their personal, civic, and
cultural responsibilities.
- General Knowledge and Skills - Students will apply personal
economic literacy as intelligent participants in a global economy;
students will apply information literacy and technological tools of
inquiry to acquiring and using knowledge-based information in a
technological information age.
