Admission Policy Effective Fall 2010

If you are a currently declared College of Business (COB) major or minor, the system should allow you to register in 300 and 400 level courses, providing you meet any additional class prerequisites.


College of Business Admissions Policy

Admission to the College of Business for College of Business B.S. majors and minors is required before students may enroll in 300-400 level classes*

College of Business Admissions Requirements

1. 30 or more earned credits at the time of application.
2. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 (includes transfer credits).
3. Completion of the following courses with a minimum earned grade of "C" is required.
    (ENG 111, ECON 201, MATH 110 or above **, CMST 191, ACCT 211, ECON 222 or STAT 210)


*Non College of Business majors and minors must have junior status and instructors permission to take COB 300 or 400 level courses.

**COB minors with non COB majors: completion of math and statistics courses required by their major, or if none required, any college level math or statistics course.

College of Business Application Process

Application for the College of Business is included via a link below.  After completing the form, please allow approximately two weeks processing time. 


After applications have been processed, a confirmation either granting or denying admission  will be sent via WSU e-mail addresses

Once you have been admitted, your DARS will switch from a pre-major to your major area of study.
