Business Administration Department Home Page

The basic purpose of the Business Administration programs is to prepare students for careers in administration of all types of organizations in the private, non-profit, or public sector. The management curriculum is designed to provide students with the tools to pursue professional careers in management of operating units or groups, and more specialized areas such as Human Resources Management. Management Information Systems trains students in the integration of information of systems tools and technologies into various business areas.

Graduation Requirements

Completion of all course work required for the major No more that two courses may be counted toward the major with a passing grade lower than a "C". A course cannot be repeated more than twice.
Completion of a minimum of 15 credits hours of 300/400 level courses from the business Administration Department at WSU.
None of the course required for a major, minor, option, or any of the concentrations, may be taken on a P/NC basis.
Completion of minimum of 50% of the business courses in the major from WSU.
Meet all WSU graduation requirements
64 non-business credits required for all majors in Department of Mathematics, Statistics (6 S. H. credits maximum) and economics (9 S. H. credits maximum) required for department majors can be counted toward the 64 non-business credits.

University Studies Flag Requirements

Students may use Flag courses to satisfy both University Studies and major requirements. Flag courses will usually be in the student's major or minor program. The Business Administration Department offers the following flag courses in the University Studies Program
