Our purpose
               The Management of Information Systems and Operations (MISO) Department is committed to fostering
 excellence in both the management information systems (MIS) and operations management (OM) disciplines through 
progressive curriculum and the application of state-of-art technology.  Students who pursue an education in MIS
 will develop an understanding of the integration of information systems technologies into various business areas.
  Students who pursue an education in OM will develop an understanding of the process of managing products and 
services throughout the supply chain.  


Graduation Requirements
1. Completion of all course work required for the major.
2. Achieve a grade of a "C" or better in all course counted towards major
3. Completion of a minimum 15 credit hours of 300/400 level courses from the ISOM Department at WSU.
4. None of the courses required for a major or minor may be taken on a P/NC basis.
5. Completion of a minimum of 50% of the business courses in the major from WSU.
6. Sixty-four non-business credits are required for the MIS major. The mathematics, statistics (six semester credits maximum) and economics (nine semester credits maximum) required for the Bachelor’s degree can be counted toward the 64 non-business credits.
7. Meet all WSU graduation requirements.
