Course Description

        Operations management is concerned with the production, distribution and project management activities carried out in an organization. It focuses on the most efficient use of human and capital inputs to manage and organize services and products in such a way customers will want to buy those goods and services. Working knowledge of today's key operations issues provides the ability and skills to build successful careers.        

                    Operations management can be described as part of an integrated process which is involved with all the other aspects of the business: namely, business planning, marketing and sales, finance, human resource management, purchasing, research and development and distribution.
 

Team the OM Minor with the MIS Major, Business Administration, Engineering and Accounting major.
