The Student Payroll Office handles payroll processes for all student employees (work study, student help, and graduate assistants) on campus. Students are entered in the payroll system after a series of required documents are completed and submitted to the student payroll office. Students, like faculty and staff, are paid on a bi-weekly basis. They must complete time sheets and submit them every two weeks for processing. Student employees are required to use direct deposit for their paychecks.
If you are new to WSU and are not familiar with the student payroll system, it is strongly recommended that you read through all of the materials on this website. There are many guidelines, lots of tips, and answers to many questions throughout this site. If you are currently supervising students and have questions, please see the links below. There is a great deal of information online and access to several frequently used forms. The work authorization form and time sheets are not currently online. Please call or email, and blank forms will be sent to you immediately.
If your student employees have questions, please direct them to the Student Employment website address: http://www.winona.edu/billing/StudentEmployment.htm. They can find a great deal of information there including a current payroll schedule, direct deposit information, tax information, etc.
