How do I purchase a Meal Plan?
All meals plans can be purchased through the WSU Housing Office which is located on the second floor of Kryzsko Commons. When you sign up for on-campus housing, your meal plan is automatically included with your housing. If you live at East Lake Apartments, you may select a regular meal plan or a 75 block plan. If you reside off campus you only have the option of a 75 block plan.
What is the cost of an on Campus Meal Plan?
7 Block Meal Plan: allows 7 meals per week and includes
$187 of Kryzsko Kash per semester.
10 Block Meal Plan: allows 10 meals per week and includes
$166 of Kryzsko Kash per semester.
14 Block Meal Plan: allows 14 meals per week and includes
$145 of Kryzsko Kash per semester.

75 Block Meal Plan: allows 75 meals for the academic year;
You have the option of purchasing another 75 Block Meal Plan at any time.

What are my options if I live off campus or at East Lake?
For Students that live off-campus or at East Lake Apartments, have the option of purchasing a 75-Block Meal Plan. The meals on this plan can be used for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or Dinner, weekdays and weekends. The 75-Block Meal Plan is like a declining balance fund, each time you swipe your card for a meal it is subtracted from your 75 meal total. Once the meals are used, you have the option to purchase another 75-Block Meal Plan.
As a perk to the off-campus resident because they pay more per meal and because they have to travel to use their plan there are Value Block Meals available for the 75 block plan users at:

How can I change my Meal Plan?
Contact the Housing Office at 507-457-5306 to change your meal plan. You will be able to choose a larger meal plan any time throughout the semester. However, you only have 2 weeks from when the semester began to lower your meal plan.
Who tracks my Meal Plan?
The Campus Card office system tracks all Meal Plans. Students can also track their own Meal Plans by creating a Manage My ID account. The system will track date, time, how many times you swiped your card for a meal and keeps a six month history of these transactions.
What is Kryzsko Kash?
Kryzsko Kash is a fund of money that is included when you purchase a 7, 10 or 14 on Campus Meal Plan. Kryzsko Kash gives you the flexibility to eat at other Dining Services locations. Lets says you are in a hurry, need to get to a class or work, don’t have time and want quick grab and go food, use your Kryzsko Kash for this. Each purchase you make is deducted from your total balance. Kryzsko Kash is not refundable.

Does my Kryzsko Kash transfer into the following semester?
Kryzsko Kash dollars do not carry over to the next semester. You need to use this fund of money within the Semester or you lose it.
What are Dining Dollars?
On Camus Students that purchased a 7, 10, or 14 Meal Plan in the Fall Semester, who missed meals during the semester can convert their unused meals from the fall semester at an exchange rate of $1.90 per meal. In order to take advantage of this reinvestment period, students must come to the Dining Service Office during the last week of finals week of fall semester during normal business hours. Once the student activates their meal plan for the spring term, the exchanged meal dollars will be placed in their account. Dining Dollars are a declining balance fund similar to Kryzsko Kash but will be allocated to a separate fund on the student ID card called “Dining Dollars”. The Campus Card system manages and tracks your Dining Dollars fund, daily transactions and history. Where can I use Dining Dollars?

What is Purple Pass?
You can now take advantage of using your WSU Warrior ID like an internal debit card for products and service on Campus. Just deposit money on your card to start using it to purchase products and services. It’s your own declining balance fund of money. You never lose this money and there are no fees to participate in Purple Pass. Your funds stay with you as long as you are a Student, Faculty or Staff Member of WSU. However, you cannot withdraw money from this fund. You can request a Refund, if leaving school or employment. You can eat, drink, snack, make copies, do laundry, purchase merchandise in the Bookstore, and request Library resources with once card. It’s simple and easy to use with the convenience of not having to carry cash with you.
How do I deposit money to my Purple Pass account?
To deposit money on your card, just visit our WSU Cashier’s window at Maxwell Warrior Hub on the second floor. Be sure to bring your Warrior ID with you and say “I would like to deposit money on my Purple Pass.” Cash and checks are accepted. You can also mail a check payable to: Winona State University and send to the following address:

What’s the difference between Purple Pass and Kryzsko Kash?
Kryzsko Kash is a fund of money that you automatically receive when you sign up for a meal plan. It is only good for that semester and will not transfer over to the next semester. Once it is gone, you cannot put money back on it. Purple Pass is your money and will transfer over semester to semester, year to year. You can reload your Purple Pass account whenever you prefer. Kryzsko Kash can be used at the Dining Service locations listed. Purple Pass can be used at any of the Dining Service locations, the Bookstore, the Library, making copies, doing laundry, for discounts and promotions, and the Student Readership Program.
What is Manage My ID?
Manage My I.D. is part of the WSU Campus Card System that provides Students, Faculty, and Staff with online account management of their funds. When you create a new account, you will be able to view your Meal Plan, Kryzsko Kash, Purple Pass, and Dining Dollars balances, transactions, with a 6-month history of these funds. Manage My I.D. ensures privacy and security by requiring users to log into the site with their own unique I.D. and password every time the site is launched. How do you create a Manage My ID account?
Visit the Manage My ID website at: www.winona.managemyid.com Click here to sign up for a new account. The next screens explain, step-by-step on how to create a new account. You will need your Warrior ID number as well as your PALS ID which is located on the back of the Warrior ID card, under the bar code.
How do I change my password in Manage My ID?
Once you log into the Manage MY I.D. website, it gives you the option to change your password. If you forget what your password is, contact the Campus Card Office at (507)457-2480, upon request they will reset your password for you.

What should I do if I lose my card or it is stolen?
Please report a lost or stolen card to the Campus Card Office, Maxwell 227, IT Service Center, Somsen 207, or the Security Office, Sheehan Hall. All Departments can lock your card. A student can also lock their own card, if lost or stolen, using their Manage My ID account. Within Manage My ID there is an option to report a Lost Card or report a Found Card. By simply clicking on Lost Card, then click the submit button this will Lock your card from any use. Please notify the Library if your Warrior ID card is lost or stolen, you may be liable for books checked out under your card. Just be aware that if you lock your card or report it stolen you will not have access to your Meal Plan. Please see Bruce Bechtle, Director of Dining Services to request a temporary eating pass. Or call him at 507-457-5505. If you don’t find your card, you will need to visit the IT Service Center, Somsen 207 to request a replacement ID immediately.
Report a Lost Card
When a Student loses their card they can LOCK their own card, using their Manage My ID account by simply clicking on Report a Lost Card, then click on Submit button.
Report a Found Card
If the Student found their card they can click on Report a Found Card, click the Submit button. This enters their card back in an Active Status, ready to use again.

What does the Magnetic Stripe do?
The magnetic stripe on the back of your Warrior ID identifies who you are and is programmed to be used at our cash registers for point of sale transactions to purchase products and services on Campus. The same Magnetic Stripe can be programmed for Activity Tracking and Events, Equipment Check in/out, Attendance, and more.
What is my PALS ID?
On the back of your WSU Warrior ID, under the bar code is your PALS ID number. This is a 14 digit number that is used for Library Services at the WSU Library.
How should I take care of my Warrior ID?
- Keep your Warrior ID card in a protective card sleeve or card holder with lanyard, or wallet at all times.
- Do not Punch holes in your Warrior ID card, this weakens the internal antenna inside the card for Security Door Access.
- Do not allow your Warrior ID cards magnetic strip (on back of card) to be scratched by keys, coins, or other objects.
- Do not apply stickers to your Warrior ID Card.
- Keep your Warrior ID card out of direct sunlight and away from other heat sources such as clothes dryer.
- Due to cold weather in our area, keep your Warrior ID protected from outside elements.
- Following these simple tips will save the life of your Warrior ID and you the replacement fee of $20.00 for a new card.
