Campus Card

All students, faculty and staff at Winona State University are issued a Photo ID Card known as your “Warrior ID.”

This card is a Smart Card that is used as your WSU identification on Campus, for Library Services, to purchase internal products and services on Campus with Purple Pass, tracks your Chartwell Meal Plans and Kryzsko Kash, as well as your Security Door Access.

Students are issued a Warrior ID Card once registered for classes.
Faculty and Staff are automatically issued a Warrior ID Card, upon employment.
Warrior ID’s, Replacement ID’s, Retiree ID’s, Badges and Department Copy Cards are issued at the Campus Card Office, Maxwell – 227 (Second Floor)
Cost of a replacement Warrior ID Card is: $20.00
Options to pay for a replacement Card is: Cash or Check at the Cashier window, Purple Pass, or pay $22.00 and be billed on your Student Account.
Student ID cards are good for five years from the date of issue
Please report a lost or stolen card to the Campus Card Office, Maxwell – 227 or after hours at the WSU Security Office, Sheehan Hall
A student can also lock their own card, if lost or stolen using their Manage My ID account. With-in Manage My ID there is an option to report your card lost or found.
Please notify the Library if your Warrior ID Card is lost or stolen, you may be liable for books checked out under your card.

Keep your Warrior ID card in a protective card sleeve or card holder with lanyard, or wallet at all times.
Do not Punch holes in your Warrior ID card, this weakens the internal antenna inside the card for Security Door Access.
Do not allow your Warrior ID cards magnetic strip (on back of card) to be scratched by keys, coins, or other objects.
Do not apply stickers to your Warrior ID Card.
Keep your Warrior ID card out of direct sunlight and away from other heat sources such as clothes dryer.
Due to cold weather in our area, keep your Warrior ID protected from outside elements.
Following these simple tips will save the life of your Warrior ID and you the replacement fee of $20.00 for a new card.
